Scheme for assistance to Encouraging Green Practice and Environmental Audit to MSME

  2. Who is eligible to get the benefit
    Any MSME applicant unit engaged in manufacturing and who intends to adopt green practices in its enterprise will be eligible for assistance under this Scheme.
  3. Eligible Activities and Assistance available

    1 Periodic Environmental Audits except those required to be carried out under provision of Acts and Rules or direction of court laws. Upto 75% of fees of audit services with a ceiling of Rs. 50,000/Audit whichever is less.
    2 To install online continuous Stack emission Monitoring system (CEMS), online effluent quality monitors system with connectivity to GPCB / CETP project for onetime. Upto 25% of cost of system or Rs. 5 Lacs, whichever is less
    3 Industrial building of more than 2,000 Sq.Mts.built up area which obtain green rating under Indian green building council(IGBC/LEED) or GRIHA Upto 50% of consulting charges or Rs. 2.5 Lacs, whichever is less
    4 Setting up of environment Management System including the setting up of environment Management Laboratory Upto 50% of cost of Equipments, ceiling of Rs. 10 Lacs /unit once during the Operative period.
    5 Purchase of new equipments/ systems related to safety, occupational health/environment Compliances for common use of industries located in cluster of minimum 10 units Up to 35% of cost of Equipments, ceiling of Rs.35 lacs/Cluster.
    6 Industries practicing at least 50% of Waste water recovery through Zero liquid discharge as certified by GPCB 35% onetime capital subsidy on relevant equipment/system or Rs. 35 lacs, whichever is less

  6. Procedure
    For Eligible Activity: 1, 2 & 3
    The Applicant unit will have to apply to concern district industries centre in prescribed application form within six months from the date of completion of the activity along with documents as specified in check list.
    • On receipt of application with all details, DIC will scrutinize the application & The DIC will sanction the proposal.
    • After the sanction, district industries centre office will convey the decision within 8 days.
    • The applicant will submit details of expenditure to DIC. DIC will carry out site visit, verify the assets and expenditure incurred and submits the report to within 30 days.
    • The assistance amount will be disbursed as per availability of grant.

    For Eligible Activity: 4, 5 & 6
    • The Beneficiary of the scheme will have to apply to IC Office in prescribed application form within six months from the date of completion of the activity along with documents as specified in check list.
    • On receipt of application with all details, IC Office will scrutinize the application and submit to the State Level implementation committee for decision within 60 days.
    • After the decision of the committee IC Office will convey the decision within 15 days.
    • The applicant will submit details of expenditure to IC office. IC office will carry out site visit, verify the assets and expenditure incurred and submit the report to within 30 days.
    • IC Office will issue pay order within 15 days and amount will be disburse as per availability of grant.
