Energy & Water Conservation and Environmental Compliance

Scheme of financial assistance for Energy & Water Conservation.

From 05/09/2012 to 04/09/2017

• The Enterprises which are registered as an industrial unit under MSME Development act, 2006 with respective DIC or IEM with GOI are eligible to get benefit.

• Existing Enterprises having in operation for more than three years

• 50% cost of energy/water audit Environmental Compliance conducted in a Enterprise by a recognized institution/consultant subject to a limit of Rs. 50,000. The list of recognized institution/consultant is enclosed herewith.

• 20% of cost of equipment subject to maximum Rs. 20 lakhs in each case separately

• The enterprises will be eligible for the above benefit once in 2 years of operating period of the scheme

• The Enterprise will have to apply to office of the Industries Commissioner, along with a copy to concerned DIC, in prescribed format for assistance along with documents as specified in check list, within One Year from the date of installation of equipments for energy/ water conservation.

• DIC will verify and will work out eligible expenditure and quantum of assistance within 15 days from the date of receipt of application and submit the evaluation report to the office of Industries Commissioner.

• The application will be put up before the State Level Committee for decision within 25 working days.

• The amount will be disbursed to the applicant within 10 working days after approval of the minutes of the SLC meeting, subject to the availability of grant.
